Hot-rolled sheet GOST 19903-74
Hot-rolled sheet is produced from carbon steel grades of general purpose, high-quality, low-alloyed and alloyed grades, including spring-spring, heat- and heat-resistant types of steel. The hot-rolled sheet is produced in accordance with GOST 19903-74 and must meet the requirements established by this standard for the thickness, width and length of the rolled sheet and must not exceed the established limit values. The requirements also apply to the flatness of the sheet, which vary depending on the accuracy of rolling.
Depending on the purpose of the sheet and the grade of steel used, the technical requirements must meet the following standards:
- GOST 16523-89 – thin-rolled carbon steel of high-quality or ordinary quality of general purpose.
- GOST 14637-89 – rolled thick sheet from carbon steel of ordinary quality.
- GOST 19281-89 – rolled steel of increased strength (low alloy).
- DSTU 1577-93 – thick-sheet and wide-strip rolled products from high-quality structural steel.
- GOST 11268-76 – rolled special-purpose thin sheet made of structural alloyed high-quality steel.
- GOST 11269-76 – rolled sheet and wide-band universal special purpose from structural alloy steel.
- GOST 5520-79 – rolled sheet of carbon and low-alloy steel for boilers and pressure vessels
General requirements for all hot-rolled sheets:
According to rolling accuracy, hot-rolled sheets are divided into:
A – increased accuracy;
B – normal accuracy.
By flatness:
PO – especially high flatness;
PV – high flatness;
PU – improved flatness;
PN – normal flatness.
According to the nature of the edge, hot-rolled sheets are divided into:
BUT – with an uncut edge;
O – with a cut edge.
Sheet g/k is used for the production of various finishing materials: roofing materials (professional flooring, steel tiles, end bar for roofing, eaves), metal profiles, perforated elements, in machine building, shipbuilding, production of cargo planes, machine tools (both metalworking and woodworking), as well as as a coating for thermal insulation of pipeline equipment.
