Wire rope DSTU 2770–94 (GOST 30136–95, ISO 8457/1–89, ASTM A510M-2006)
Steel wire rod is a type of rolled metal, which is a round wire with a diameter of 5 mm to 10 mm. For production, a metal blank made of carbon steel is used, which is subjected to hot drawing on special wire machines.

Main characteristics of steel wire rod
Steel wire rod is produced from grades of carbon steel, the chemical composition of which corresponds to DSTU 2651-94.
The metal workpiece is heated on a wire or wire-sorting machine, followed by crimping and forming to the required diameter (5.5 mm – 10 mm and more). A wire is obtained at the output, which is placed in rings for cooling.
Cooling can be carried out in several ways:
- U01 – single-stage
- U02 – two-stage
- VO – in the air
The wire rod offered by us is plastic, scale-free, and has the same structure along its entire length.
